As I stared at the ceiling lying in bed, I wondered what adventures this day could possibly hold. As a youth pastor, I never know what’s going to happen. Some days are hectic while other days are quite. I tend to enjoy both at times. What will tomorrow bring I wonder? Then gradually I start remembering, I have to do a testimonial, plan Friday night and ect, and it becomes a busy day.

It’s so easy to forget what sets the tone for the day, and the irony is that I spend so much time in it. I use it for my studying, preparing and preaching. The word of God needs to be my lamp for the day. I trust that you have taken time out to meet with God today before it gets too hectic! The day can be tough enough, make sure you start it with God!
